Last week, we had an inspiring experience at the e-Invoicing Exchange Summit Kuala Lumpur, hosted by @mymdec (MDEC) and OpenPeppol. This event brought together e-Invoicing experts and practitioners from over 20 countries, fostering invaluable discussions on the future of digital trade.

We were thrilled to hear from André Hoddevik, Secretary General of OpenPeppol, who shared invaluable insights into Peppol’s best practices and MDEC’s pivotal role in championing cross-border trade.

Saiful Izwan Mohd Shazali, Director of National e-Invoicing & Standardisation at MDEC, also emphasised that interoperability is more than a buzzword — it is the future. Frameworks like Peppol, which is the world’s most widely adopted e-Invoicing standard, are paving the way for seamless global connectivity.

In addition, we want to appreciate Seong Wah Geok, Principal Architect, e-Invoicing (IMDA Singapore) & eDEC Lead (Peppol), for leading a thought-provoking roundtable. He shared how the emerging PINT (Peppol International) design approach is set to enhance cross-border e-Invoicing even further.
